I live in and grew up in Wilmington, California. Close to the ocean, which I love.
 I started writing poetry a few months after my father passed away from cirrhosis, scarring of the liver, primarily from drinking alcohol. It takes a while, but my father had been drinking since before I was born, and I am 16.
