To Protect & Serve
No one wants to see a time when a loved one is the victim of a crime
The police are here to protect and serve
To execute someone takes a lot of nerve
How can you have so much hate
Condemnation is the only thing you rate
Unfortunately You may never see
The good our police officers bring to the community
We must all recognize the ten percent
Who to be police officers are not meant
But the 90% who remain
Are our peace and safety to sustain.
