The Lost Ones (Atlantis)

The Isle of Intelligence Lost

A city drowned, many long ages gone
sculpted fountains with etchings unknown did overflow.
chanting men against the dawn
in the deepest deep it glows below
lucifer of the sea, an angel in decent
an ocean swallows the island it craves
isle of gold begs mercy, to repent
fire is never known in the deepest graves
the ocean once owned and now enslaves
forever lost with pillar, wealth and power
cleverly taking what once it gave
all in myth within a moment, an hour
The lost ones, embraced by mystery stay
lost, an eternity before it lay

another very very old one of mine. ...but i have revised it a bit since then...about Atlantis and its demise ...i love Atlantis and anything surrounding it...

Note ** all my poems are copyrighted and have codes to prove ownership ... While I doubt anyone here does this ..still have to say Don't steal other people's work wether a poem is good enough or not .... It's personal and directly speaks from the soul of the writer and to take their work and say it's yours ..it's wrong and unnatural ..your stealing a peice of them ...it's nothing to do with money or rights...it's so much more than that...its happened to me .. It can happen to anyone .. It hurts and I always speak out against it even if to most it seems pretentious...
