A moment in Time

For what is a moment
If we can’t squeeze the juice from it?
If we don’t capitalize its breathe
If we don’t grow plentiful at it’s touch
If we don’t harnest the light?

Would it not still be a moment?
The scurring of the leaves across a path,
The aimless leisure painted through sips of coffee,
The mindless stroll through a park
All what makes a moment

When we squeeze the juice out of it
It becomes hollow
Used and discarded
Why do we capitalize
On something so precious?

Time is the thief of joy–
If you let it steal your spirit.
Productivity is the bandit of hope–
If you let it drain your creativity

For what is a moment
If you let it pass you by?
