A Love Story
A Poem Of True Love
How beautiful it was when their eyes first met,
inwardly responding, but the time was not yet.
Moving on in time, remembering the glance,
thinking they would meet again by chance,
they could not forget
Then the day came, he saw her in the distance,
he had to say something, he had no resistance.
He walked over and said have we met before,
when their eyes met again they couldn’t ignore
that it was love
They started to date and grew closer each time,
they both understood it was something devine,
and then they kissed
Their love grew so strong they couldn’t stay away,
They had to be together almost everyday.
How intense their love, with each embrace,
but they wanted their union covered with Grace,
so they restrained
Their love continued on and even others knew,
what a beautiful relationship it blossomed into,
So he knew that he had to take another step,
thinking that she would surely except,
He proposed, and they were married.

Being one who loves Love Stories I thought I’d write a short love poem.
It seemed like I wanted to say more but I wanted to keep it short.
I almost feel like l’d like to write a book. Gods will maybe I will one day.
