Deep in my heart there’s a love,
for this country I call my own,
Deep in my heart there’s commitment,
for this country I call my home.
When I needed help my country was there,
and I’m grateful for that today,
and the love I feel inside my heart,
will never go away.
Deep in my heart I’m so grateful,
for this freedom I have today,
I’m thankful for the rights I have,
to worship, and to pray.
I pray for other places,
where they cannot live this way,
Deep in my heart I’m thankful,
I was born in the U.S.A.
Deep in my heart I just can’t expressed,
how I love my country so,
but there’s a love that God has given,
that I feel where ever I go.
Sometimes when I can’t put into words,
how I’m grateful to be a part
I just simply enjoy my country,
cause I love it Deep Down In My Heart.
H.S.I. (c) 2012-19.
