The Resurrection
They crucified our Lord,
And laid Him in a Tomb,
but He won the Victory,
Over all His mortal wombs.
Only one can claim such Vict’ry,
after His Blood was shed,
Only one has this great power,
That raised Him from dead.
When we think of Him dying,
Of what it really, really meant.
Our souls bow down remembering,
This awesome great event.
Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Christ is risen, We are saved.
For He rescued, and redeemed us,
When He rose up from the Grave.
We lift our souls in worship,
and praise forever more,
For this inconceivable moment,
The Resurrection of our Lord.
