Serenely I float above
Serenely I float above
secure in my ignorance
Casting aside both angels and demons
I stare in misbelief at the folly we create
Seeking not a path to follow
but one that fills my footsteps
I drift into a state of mind
that gives me freedom complete
Now emptied I can be refilled
and start to think again
I move forward and seek not truth but light
for light is immutable
Perhaps some day so very far away
When once again we are the stardust from which we came
Our light will shine on a new world
And warm the children as they play
