The past,
It lingers in my mind daily,
Morning and night,
It invaded every thought,
Destroying any peace and joy that I may have,
I know I can’t ever change the past,
I know that I can’t erase the past from my mind,
But I will fight to change today,
I will fight to make a great memory of today,
Today is a day to be changed,
To forget the old, remember the new,

To fight for what truly matters,
