Depression
Something that take your smiles away,
Something that gives you only tears to cry,
Something that eats you alive,
Something that destroys your mind,
Something that stops your heart,
Something that holds your breath,
That’s depression,
It over comes you,
Not loosening it’s grip on you,
Changing who you are,
Giving you a bad prospective on everything,
Depression,
It’s awful,
I’ve been there,
Many time,
Wanting to sleep but there no sleep to be found,
Wanting to cry but there are no more tears left to cry,
Wanting to die but death can’t be found,
It is all consuming,
Depression can and will consume and destroy
the very thing that you want to keep,
You.
