Train Delay
10 years of college, 2 years experience, makes me wonder what lacks the difference.
I Travel across the country on a train with a never ending track, making sure the sun sets behind my back.
Countless essays, endless tests, the world lay heavy on my chest.
Countless timers, endless tapings, How the world tries to grow and shape me.
The Train has stopped, I guide my way off, Countless steps that I now have to walk.
Unemployed, I feel depraved, weeks go by and I don’t need to shave.
Sitting down on my couch, bank wallet near empty, my thrifty mind not so tempting.
As I lay my mind at ease, loan companies calling and I’m stuck eating cheese.
My train is on standby, my mind becoming restless, I need to continue my journey before I become relentless.
