Pops said college was out of sight
Even momma chipped in.
They never knew I saw that glimmer of light
You can bet that I tried not to sin
I never thought of the spin, I knew I was going to win
The odds were against me and I had to rise above the bullshit

All the things I tried to do just turned to zero
