The lonely Man
The lonely man is obviously lost
Games in his life that he’s obviously lost
Houses in his life that he’s obviously lost
And of course, women in his life that he’s damn straight lost
He walks around aimless reminiscing on the past
Thinking about all the times that he thought he had a hall pass
He had a lot of friends just like Jay Gatsby
But were they really “Friends”
They just want the man to feel happy
In the midst of the Champ feeling crappy
Everywhere he goes he can feel the pain, even when he wants to forget
At the end of it all, he’s still a lonely man trying to capture his life without a damn net
