The Here After You
The right way of living is to avoid
the pits of hopelessness. To see
the light when you’re surrounded
in darkness. The best way to die
is by treading a road no one else
has been on besides you. There
is no step wider one can take other
than finding a worthy cause to risk
your life on; when we live for others
the grave becomes small and our
hearts grow larger for it. If the memory
of our lives, saves one from following
the path to destruction, then surely
we’ve won what others fail to see; a
love cherished long after we are gone.
