Our gallery of almosts
where unfinished poems sleep like kings,
where half-formed ghosts wear crowns,
where silence and sparks shake hands
and call it art.
Each “almost”
was a world nearly born,
an abortion of words not uttered.
Each one a rebellion against forgetting,
for tomorrow new thoughts
would want to reach stardom.
Each one a cathedral
we dared to sketch
with trembling hands
and defiant hearts.
Let them chase completion.

We built beauty from becoming.
