When the sun loved the moon

To anyone who's suffering from barriers that keep them from their lover

The sun and moon
Both astray
Fell in love
On a cold winters day

But by fate or hate
Their love was denied
They were cursed or forgotten
By the man in the sky

Come dusk and dawn they chase each others way
To find some common ground
So at last they can love
And be repaid

But god isn’t kind
Nor is life
So the moon will chase the sun
The beginning of each night

And like a cold winters day
One day they’ll see
Their love is too complicated
And not acceptable for society

So round and round their love will go
Until Loosing all hope
And unable to cope
The sun will go out
Will the help of a rope
