The pain in my heart
Yes it is very real

Like a weight on my shoulders
That’s holding me down
Like a pile of boulders
Making me drown
Like an anchor that was
Tied around me in haste
It sinks me as it does
And it lays me to waste
Right below the surface
You do see me there
I’m not easy to miss
But you’re too cold to care
Resign me to my fate
As I draw my last breath
As I sink, it’s too late
Your wish granted....my death
