The Empty Feeling.
When you feel you have nothing to live for, he shows up at your door, staff in hand ready to take you with him.
Thoughts race through your mind, what’s the point, no cares anyway, who would miss me, no one. You begin to follow him.
He takes you down the dark narrow road of your past, this only assures your decision more, you decide you want to die. Breathing even seems hard now.
But you take one last glance behind you, as anyone would, and change your mind. So you look death in the face and say not yet. And sprint toward the light.
Your body jolts as the feelings return and you remember who you are and why you live. Though you still feel sad, you go on living just as before.
Meanwhile, he waits in the corner for your next break down to see if he can get you, to make you feel empty all over again.
