Ayer te vi paseando por mi barrio,
disimulé;
....fingí para no verte;
fue un poco fuerte sentir lo extraordinario
sentir que lo habitual
dejaba ser costumbre.
Ayer te vi,
buscabas un pretexto,
y el texto era saber si lo que hacía
es modo de poesía
o alguna melodía que no se escucha diario.
Ayer te vi
haciendo que buscabas;
y un poco de escapada
te vi buscando a tu ego,
la sombra de algún juego de identidad segura,
buscando otra armadura
que tenga abecedario.
Y yo me vi
fingiendo mi demencia,
por no decir amnesia
que excluya un compromiso;
tal vez algún hechizo de forma literaria
mantenga libertario
lo que nos da el misterio
sin que se pierda piso.

YESTERDAY I SAW YOU
Yesterday I saw you walking through my neighborhood,
