5 Haiku Story, "Morning On The Farm"

The morning’s Sun peaks
From behind black faced skylines
That wait to be seen.

Then the Rooster crows
In hopes of waking others
That have no alarm.

Farmhouse lights come on
While the smell of coffee sings,
“Good morning to all.”

Bacon, eggs, and toast
With juice and morning hellos
Soon to find the door.

She washes dishes
In flannel gown and slippers,
Watching that Sun rise.
