My heart is heavy with the weight of you.
As you swim through all of your confusion.
I am here feeling in love and yet still so blue.
As I begin to believe this to be nothing more than an illusion.
My feelings for you are surging through me so strong and true.
My words to you are not from any delusion.
These feelings that I put to pen I do not merely spew.
I knew not how much I would fall; I am after all just human.
I stood there with my heart in my hands for you.
I know that I have done everything I can for what I profess to be proven.
Love should be something to be enjoyed, not something to get through.
As I begin to loosen my grip and let go, I suspect that I will find no substitution.
