Our last day together was solemn yet tender.
Words to be said I could not render.
To say goodbye was too hard to do.
All I wanted was to hold steadfast onto you.
To gaze into your beautiful eyes one more time.
To adore your light that I see shine.
You can probably feel me shake.
My world you did quake.
As I feel your tears.
I face my fears.
You’re still with me.
Yet I miss you already.
