You shook me to the core

I try so hard to play it cool and unaffected. The truth is while I seem so mellow; I am shaking to the core. I hate it; usually I keep my composure better than anyone. I can usually let go fairly easily, I have always believed to not pursue one that seems uninterested. However, I have never met someone like you. A fantastic lover, a great kisser, a generous human, a gentle soul, and so stunningly beautiful. Not ever. I hate the way you push me away, but I love when you pull me in. I never knew what we were or where we were headed, I just know that no one had ever had such a profound effect on me, both by the way my spirit soared, and also by how my heart ached. It sucks. You give me the word and I will stand and fight with every fiber of my being for this, but I get this sense that things are headed toward platonic. The last time we kissed your lips were not inviting, your eyes did not shine. I only want for you what truly makes you happy. Even if it breaks my heart I will always cherish how great things were.
