Butterflies

I’ve been writing this piece to feel the flow,
It’s really hard to describe a real joy you feel from having the courage to meet someone you’ve felt a strong connection with.
Her energy is so strong, and genuine
I really think she could be the other side of the coin,
Her laugh is so contagious and cute,
I love how she covers her mouth,
She has a little pterodactyl screech,
The way she can smoke a menthol,
With her French tip flick of ash
With her clear blue stare through the air.
This is one of those hard ones...
When do you let someone know you again?
This doesn’t happen a lot,
When you know you really haven’t ever felt this way, or you forgot.
I’m not big on coincidences,
I feel positive energy can find you,
through your positive deeds.
Even if our lonely hearts don’t cross again,
Forsaken this time is not spent,
Every moment is meant to mend,
Finds me longing too see her again, and again
You read my poems today out loud, two of them exactly.
I’ve never been so astonished and amazed, and laughed so much!
And I... can’t stop smiling around you
How do you describe butterflies?
How do accurately depict her peer joy and beauty? I can’t, this is and always be unfinished.
She is her own poem,
I’m captivated by her melody,
Her rhythm,
I feel her energy as she walks toward me
I feel happy
Every single time I think of her,
I just smile and shake my head,
Every time,
Acknowledging her sudden life force crashing into mine
I never thought it was possible to find something I stopped looking for
One day you’re gonna get mad at me for thinking your turrets is cute
I know it
At some inappropriate time your are gonna make your little noise
People will notice, or maybe even a private moment, a spilled drink
I’m gonna laugh, you will get upset,
I’m gonna laugh harder,
You’re gonna be mad,
The sight of you getting upset will send me rolling,
You’ll crack a smile, and tell me to shut it
I will, you’ll take my hand in yours
We will look at each other like we have never looked at anyone else
That’s one of many joyous moments,
We both will know,
That we have achieved our purpose in life
