My favourite"Aunt Al”
When everything is still and all around me are I deep peaceful sleep
I can sit here and relay the emotions I would other wise keep
To the fellow “AM” writers can you hear the waking bird song
This perfect part of the day were I want the minutes, seconds to be long
And then... I have my aunt who I’m discovery all over again!
She is just as I remember ...smart and funny but not an ounce of her has changed!
My Aunt Al is all the “family” I have and if you all knew me you’d know why she makes me crazy glad!
We have been reengaging, getting to know each other, as women over this year
I can honestly say she put me on a path so clear.
Yet to be completed!
