If I had the chance…

I would go back in time and right my wrongs so that today we would be living right.

I would have listened, enjoyed every shallow moment and lived like giants.

I would have created every memory as a moment to live in for a lifetime.

I would apologize for being the boy I was instead of the man I was suppose to be.

I would hug life into… you while stealing a huff of your smell from you.

I would wipe clean of all the hurt, tears, and cries I caused and the nightmares of me.

I would be pierced next to the body of Christ and there ask for HIS forgiveness for the pain I’ve caused you.

I would live a poor man’s life than to prosper in a rich man’s dream.

I would give you everything just to see you smile even if it wasn’t because of me.

I would tell you how beautiful you are and everyday I worship the ground you walk on because God’s daughters are suppose to be loved like Jesus loved the church, Amen.

I would dig deep inside myself and slay my prideful dragons and murder my selfless identities of only thinking about me, me, me and my pride and joy is you, you, you.

I would have clocked in more hours with you instead clocking in more hours for play, money can never buy you love, nor can it add back all the precious time that was wasted.

I would say three simple words and mean every part I…Love…You.

I would ask God to please redo all this over again except leave me out of it to never hurt you again.

I would never allowed myself to create “if I had the chance” because in the moment when I had the chance, I took the easy way out where I thought I had a chance, to only realize that truly I lost the chance that I had when I had the chance, with you.

I would stare you in the face and tell you I am sorry for all the hurt, the lies, and trouble I put you through.

I would explain to you that loving you wasn’t hard but understanding what I have to be and how I let you down, and now understanding that I might never get to right my wrongs with you is, hard.

I would tell you simply my love for you will never stop and forever I will remain in love with you.

I would just pray everyday saying to God, “God if I only had the chance!”I would, that would be my prayer about you.

Excuse me for being emotional but if I had the chance I would sit you on the throne and praise your every existence.
