To thine own self be true
Am I still in love with you
Surely not boldly I say
Until you touched me yesterday
It’s not your hand, so smooth and soft
That gentle touch that warms my heart
Not even your eyes though aged with time
Still mesmerizes even the divine
Its the friend that cares to the end
That always says I mean you well
Deep inside an angelic smell
Seems she got me under her spell
No magic
Hocus pocus no
No twirling  fingers or playing with toes
A deeper pull a stronger call
Let me take you to the ball
Before we go I must say no
To the life I used to know
Old misery you’ll no longer know me
This princess is now my Queen
A man reborn behind the scene
