No Need For Technology

Who needs technology when we’re together,
television cell phones only draw attention away from each other,
worried about a wireless connection,
worried about a picture positing,
and whatever else that comes with them  gadgets,
making it difficult for you and I to a have connection of communication,
few words here a few words there,
that’s not my way of having a deep conversation,
deep eye interaction maybe hold you while communicating to give you a warmth sensation,
sit by the fireplace,
look upon your face and watch the fire glow off your skin,
everything you say can’t be erased like your talking with a pen,
feels like nothing is in our presence,
unraveling your thoughts and feelings,
surprised from what you giving me like Christmas presents,
excited to travel through your mind,
talk about the future and try to picture it as if I was blind,
who needs technology when we’re together,
live in the moment,
don’t ruin it trying to take the perfect picture just to post it,
phone less leaves us with no interruptions,
nothing to distract our butterfly feeling discussions,
you don’t need social media for reassurance,
most of us only use it to clear up assumptions
