Living in a world falling apart

World in the dark

I gotta say something no one sees the signs that are coming
We just keep marching the same way to the way they’re druming
No risk we just sit like we always have before like we don’t
See the world trying to start a war like this has never happened before
They kill us you kill me someone kills you statin is standing at your door
This time I won’t be ignored I’ll stand up say something they might attack me for
Can’t you see when the rich wage war its the poor that die me you were pushed aside
It’s not about black or white purple or green it’s about who has a dream
Who knows they’re true potential not a product of environment
But good time spent I’m not preaching I’m reminiscing on the day I seen the twin towers
Blown away and how my family prayed people looking with fear in thyer eyes because our leader told lies family’s cried most sons didn’t come back alive now days we walk away or blame it on race believe what they say when a man tells you ship them back makes you wanna attack anyone with a lack of respect to see we are the best we are the one when it’s said and done who lose our daughters and our sons when we can’t put gas in our tank and they’re cashing they’re checks now and days there’s booms in the buses bikes road markets shopes close people killing people you know funerals so many it’s like a rerun of a TV show heart break and pain will soon be all we know if we don’t make a change and we let our world go
