the Angel in my dreams

A man came to my dreams and said why
Such low self-esteem don’t you see who you are
What you could be you could go so far

I thought to myself with sorrow in my eyes
Right before I made a reply

I’m am not who you think me to be my life
Is bad news shameful history
I have bin here I have bin there.
I never found good any where

He looked at me with such shame
Child there is so much to gain from rain

I don’t understand what you mean

Don’t the flowers grow from green the crops
That you eat the food and beauty you seek
All start with rain

But rain can poor and bring thunder take you
More then under to much is bad so much dies

Child where is your pride the past that started
With rain that pat helped you gain
Your mother father grandparents too
All saw lots of rain still pulled
Through
Ups downs they’re what keeps us around
How would we know we where happy if we never
Fruond if all we saw was light how would
We know when it’s night

I looked up with tears in my eyes and said
This is true but look around what should
I do
I’m nothing but a leaf in the wind
No tree wants me I’m only a end

No girl don’t be so blind a leaf started and
In time you will see you are not lost or
Deceived but blessed

Why how am I blessed my life is mess
After mess I should tattoo idiot on my chest

Child all I can say is you are the tree
Dry you eyes don’t walk away don’t shun
What I have tried to tell you
I know you I have felt you
I bin there through all you did in vain
Heard your regret felt you pain
I have see you grow my child you should know

I looked now in surprise who are you to tell
Me when I don’t even know and ask myself
Who am I

I am the Angel sent to you
Now show me you have so little
Time
So much to prove be brave be strong
Be right don’t do wrong be everything
That you can be
Be the greater part of history

And with that he disappeared I haven’t
Slept right in years but when I got up
To see if all was true my angel moved
And I knew what to do
