My old friend
Year 2000 you were born
Millenium friend, y2k spawn,
You knew me better than all the rest
made me better, got me through lifes test,
The last few years went by so fast
I thought they would atleast last,
heavy head i hold now in my hand
as you breath so slow so peacefull and glad
you say your last goodbye
I know now its time to cry
taking one last breath,
the docter nods, you may now rest.
Even though I lost my companion and friend
the memories they will never end.
