Untitled

They say time makes you forget.
Old friends become faded memories.
Somehow I can’t forget you.
Somehow my mind won’t let go.
I still remember how much you hurt me.
Led me to think you were true.
It couldn’t have been real.
It was justt too good.
Everytime you see me do you still remember?
Does it kill you to swallow your pride and pretend to be civil?
Does it make you regret all the cruel things you said?
Whenever you turn around and see my face do you feel disgraced?
It was you that ran away,
You made the choices, you burned the bridge.
You hung up the phone ;
Turned out the light.
Told me to leave you be.
I’ve moved on,
But it seems to me you’re still holding on.
They say time heals all wounds.
Enemies become faded memories.
