In the echo of my anguish
Hangs the weight of my despair
Twisting into turmoil
Like fingers wracking through my hair
But in these waves of torment
I find solace in release
I scream to bleed the pressure
Building, billowing beneath
Below the surface of my suffering
I am surging with unrest
I am aching with the urge
To put my endurance to the test
Let me live, but let me linger
In the depths of my disease
For I have never been more eager
To test this bath of misery
