Ruth likes Barley
She was particularly loyal
Traveled there regardless
And that crisis was ten years earlier
But the date doesn’t matter
Just appreciate the story for what it is
It is not a love story
It is a story of compassion
It was Gods will
Or totally random
So she blamed God
But things turned out well
And she lay at his feet
Thanks to a field of barley
A lot of barley
