Stargazing

I miss the times missing you was easy

Chills run down my neck.
The crisp night air,
Solitude within thousands of stars.
You cross my mind,
I scream at myself for caring.
I drop to the ground,
Feel it run through my body.
I ache, it tears apart my being,
Painfully melding it back together.
My eyes dissolve, run down my cheeks,
As tears tend to do,
Only to reform as if untouched.
Pulling every strand of my hair out,
Are my hands,
Sewing them back into my scalp.
Ripping skin off my fragile skeleton,
Let it fall back into place as it once was.
This hurt, it’s beautiful.
Sometimes I wish it wouldn’t stop so soon.
It feels nice,
To feel something so strong.
