Unto My Own

With two so strong, they walk this life,
As others, pass them by,
The good and bad they’ll share and fight,
With each, to helping and guide,

But while they have this, I fight this fear,
That alone I’ll always stay,
Yet I, not they, do bear this shame,
And be more cursed than they.

I sleep, I walk, I talk, and now live,
Forever with this past.
While hoping that this lonesome life,
So dark, would go by fast.

With growing fear, I tried my best,
By bribing some to stay,
But in this life, I soon would find,
They too, would just walk away,

This life is a road that bids me go,
No helping hand to lend,
Yet still I stand here all alone,
With none to call, a friend.
