Factoid

A lie often told
Factoid becomes very soon
By all counts by noon

Yes, lies hoodwink some, not all
For who wants to play the fool?
Filter what one sees or hears
Feel the ringing in one’s ears

If too good they say
And sounds bizarrely askew
By all odds untrue

Beware one who’d bring turmoil
The charmer who sells snake oil
Factoid even if trivial
Unleash something visceral
