Two Left Feet
Just for Laughs
I saw a one-legged man
Do an incredible dance routine
With twizzles and pirouettes
That would rival a ballerina.
Yet here I am a two-legged clod
Albeit with two left feet
Who could hardly do a simple plié
Of course people have different skills
Some can sculpt while others paint
Some can sing while others write music
I do none of the above
And so I write
Hopefully something worth reading
Or else I’ll have to dance through life
Even with two left feet
