There’s been moments where I sit back,
Reminiscing of the times we had.
It would sometimes leave me on or off track,
then I am sad.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you my friend,
But I know you’ve gone home.
Our friendship has temporarily come to an end,
Hope you hear this through my voice and tone
You were gone way too soon,
It’s a shame it had to be you.
You’ve gone up out there, somewhere near the moon.
