A raging battle is fought
In every person we meet
From the rich and famous
To the old guy in the street
No one knows the struggle
Within another persons soul
So kindness should be given
To the young and the old
Who are we to be condescending
Have we right to be judgemental
Living in our hypocritical mansion
Looking down on the lowly rental
Unless you walk in their shoes
Do not speak ill of someone
Maybe someday you’ll be suffering
When their struggle has been won
