Mating Practices
To men an infant’s mostly irritation,
But his libido often seems impressed
By females features favoring procreation:
The pelvis flared, the heavy sway of breast.
And thus, some women, knowing what entices,
Put noxious waxes on their trembling lips,
Inflate their tender breasts with cruel devices,
Or pinch their waists to emphasize their hips.
They jog for miles to mold a shapely thigh,
Wear wee bikinis marking crucial spots,
Besmirch their heads with poison pastes and dye—
All merely to promote domestic plots.
How simpler, then, opposed to womankind,
The lady ape, who gets a red behind.
