I fell in love once

I mean to her it was just another relationship

but to me i meet my wife

so when i talk to another women

i look down at my ring finger

and think god

is it really adultery

if the women i love

never got the memo

that the life she’s leading

is not the one she’s meant to

maby its mental

like i force the fantasy of forever love

or maybe its my artistic side

that wants to draw out this picture perfect ending

its in me

I think i will even talk about her on my wedding day

i mean i will look the women i marry in her eyes

and read her the vows i wrote for my wife

when i carry the women i marry across the threshold

and lay her on the bed and she takes off dress

i will speak to her in the tone i reserve for my wife
