I love to see green turtles
So to the Black Sands Beach I go
Believe me you don’t see it often
When they’re sitting in a row

The law says, please don’t touch
Just better not get too near
A ten thousand dollar fine
Thrown in jail, it’s that severe

Turtles can swim to me
And nibble on my toes
They aren’t fined one thin dime
Guess that’s just how it goes
