The Sad Plight of Humanity
It all started in eden
with the downfall from a fruit
and never returning to the bliss
firstly experienced at it’s root
Humanity showed such promise
but sin entered gripping it’s hold
throughout the ages of time
continually held by hands so cold
Mankind has always tried so hard
to rise above their rut
but their sinful fallen nature
always kept them consistently cut
In many ways it’s so sad
as humanity has ended up
as the divine maker planned something better
but humanity preferred their sinful cup
God truly loves his creation
but if they would only hear and listen
for His love is so very great
it’s truly what they’re missing
