Book of poems
We write with pain or with happiness
We write from the memories of the past
I write with my true deep thoughts
It’s like releasing the baggage letting go
Part of this process of healing changing my life
My mind sharp as a knife as it cuts the pain away
Trying to release the chains like a prisoner locked away
The past keeps us hostage from growing
As I chisel away I continue to let go forgive
As my old memories fades away into the wind
