Theft of Identity

I talk to you, hear my voice.
I look at you, see my face.
We were all made to be unique.
We’re all “one in a million” s.
Your spotlights burning out, from shining on someone else.
Everything I do, you seem to do it too.
At first, it was flattering, you must think I’m cool.
But soon face began to change,
Emerald eyes shifted to blue.
I was told that I was inspiring,
But I’m trapped in a conspiracy.
Your light is dying fast.
The world grows even darker.
I beg of you, I plead of you.
Be who you were meant to be,
Instead of a twisted version of me
