A husband to understand.

It is a silent command.
He leads you to his bedroom.
It was grand not like “villiage of the damned”.
There were no demands or getting body slammed.
My spirit climbs.
Rewind time where everything was fine.
You weren’t married to a mime.
You treated you like slime.
Where being a mom wasn’t a crime.
Food costs more than a dime.
Do you hear a tune, a melody that chimes.?
