Seasons Poem

Winter tumbled
over the frosty roofs
freezing pools and seas
climbing over shivering hills
drowning in the soft green grass

Summer sped
over hot sunbathed girls
over shining swimming pools
glimmering in the light
and kids mucking in the water

Spring sprung
over carefully lawn mowed grass
stroking cute little babes
under its rays
leaving a tint of soft warm welcome

Autumn stumbled
over naked trees
swirling golden leaves
skipping over deep wet mud
hurling ferocious winds

(2009)

I'd say everyone has to have a seasons poem in their anthology
even though this isn't the best it gives a pretty see-through description of the different seasons
the 'babes' in spring, refers to baby lambs which is kind of the stereotype of the season
