An Angels Journey

Sleeping so silently,
I watch her from the sky,
She was so young, so beautiful,
All she wanted was goodbye..

I probably should move on now,
But I no there’s something else,
Something deep inside her,
That’s trying to get out.

They zap her one more time,
To try & bring her back,
But something was missing,
Something that they lack.

She told him it was over,
& he never meant her harm,
As his hand met her shoulder,
& traveled down her arm.

She tried to pull away,
But he tightened up the grip,
He didn’t want to hurt her,
She wasn’t meant to slip.

The mirror, the floor,
It happened so quick,
Her deaf-defying scream,
Was enough to make you sick.

He cradled her there,
As she lie upon the floor,
Her limp body,
Her blood covered it all..

Enough now with my story,
I’ve excepted my end,
Now with my wings I fly,
Heavens just around the bend
