Wings Don’t Fail Me Now

Trust.
Who can I trust if I don’t trust myself?
Trust.
Begging and pleading yet not much seems to help.
Trust.
I’ve been here before. At the Apex, the Crossroads, the Choice.
Trust.
Do I fall back in line or stand up and use my voice?
Trust.
When no one else was there who was with me through it all?
Trust.
Everytime I took that step who ensured I didn’t fall?
Trust.
Life has not been easy and sure times have been tough.
Trust.
A leap of faith again. Surely, I’m enough.

Contest / Another Rilke Quote
This is what the things can teach us:
to fall, patiently to trust our heaviness.
Even a bird has to do that before he can fly.”
